The Rhythm of Rest.
In a city that never stops moving and a culture built on constant hustle, we choose a different path.
Why We Rest
The Sabbath is not a restriction; it is an invitation. From the very beginning of creation, God built a rhythm of work and rest into the fabric of the universe. He worked for six days and rested on the seventh, setting a precedent for humanity.
For young adults in Atlanta navigating career pressures, social expectations, and digital burnout, the Sabbath is the ultimate act of rebellion against the "hustle culture" that tells us our worth is defined by our output.
By dedicating a full 24 hours (from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset) to step away from our labor, our screens, and our anxieties, we make a profound declaration of trust: God is in control, and the world will not fall apart if we stop working.
How We Observe
Disconnecting
We intentionally power down our laptops, step away from our projects, and turn off the constant noise of social media.
Gathering
We prioritize physical presence with family and friends. We share meals, go for walks, and build deep community.
Worshipping
We dedicate time to study the Word, pray, and worship together, refocusing our minds entirely on Christ.
